CELEBRATE MISSION SUNDAY
Today is Mission Sunday and we unite on this special
day with all Churches worldwide, Òtogether
in missionÓ, to celebrate our faith and
the spreading of God’s love to far distant
missionary lands. Let us individually and as communities
assist the missions by prayer and financial help
so that they may continue their tremendous work
Òfrom village to village proclaiming the
Good NewsÓ. (Today’s Gospel) The
1,900 Irish missionaries across the globe greatly
appreciate your loyalty and support to their work
in the spreading of the Good News, God’s
word, to all corners of the world. On this special
day they unite with us spiritually.

First Reading:
Wisdom 11: 22 – 12: 2
You are merciful too all because you love all
that exists.
Second Reading:
2 Thessalonians 1: 11-22
By his power – fulfill all your desires
for goodness.
Gospel: Luke
19: 1-10
