Seniors - Both seniors and reserves lost to Trillick at home on Saturday evening, The seniors were beaten by a three points margin 0-11 to 0-8. Much improved performances will be required from now until the end of the season if we are to remain in senior football next season. No date has yet been fixed for our minor championship game against Killeeshill, Depending on how the County Minors do at the weekend. Come along on Saturday to the GAA centre and watch the game on the large screen.

Fr Willie Sproule commemoration
took place at the weekend beginning with the golden oldies game between Aghyaran and Sean Mac Cumhaills on Sunday for the Fr Willie Memorial cup. Mac Cumhaills came out on top winning the Fr Willie Memorial Cup for the first time. A large congregation attended a Mass in St. Patrick;s This was then followed by the celebration of the Memorial mass at in St Patrick's Church Aghyaran to a large congregation. In the GAA Centre afterwards the presentation of the Fr Willie Cup and various novelty awards was made by Rita (Fr Willies housekeeper) The evening concluded with a great night of the very best in music, song, dance and recitation all organised by local community groups and musical artists. The M.C. on the night Mr Charlie Lynch made sure the proceedings ran smoothly throughout the evening. A big thanks from the Aghyaran GAA club to everyone who organ Àised or helped in any way to make this a memorable occasion one that Fr Willie himself would have been proud of.

Ladies -
Our U14 girls lost in the final of the championship to Moy, They done themselves and the club proud. This talented group of girls will give a good account of themselves in the future as most of them have two more years at this level. It was great to see such a good turn out of support for the girls in Drumragh on Monday night

Accord N.I.
is organising courses for inter-church couples preparing for marriage. These courses are similar in content to the standard Accord courses and cover commitment, communication, conflict resolution, Church and children. You must complete both days of the course. Dates for 2010 are June 27th/29th, September 26th/28th, October 24th/26th November 28th/30th. The venue for these dates is the Dunsilly Inn Hotel, Antrim.
