This Week’s Calendar
Monday 11 - St Barnabas. He was born in Cyprus. He was one of the first converts to Christianity in Jerusalem. He became a companion of St Paul and accompanied him on his first missionary journey. Barnabas took part in the first Council of Jerusalem.

Tuesday 12
- 10th week in Ordinary Time.

Wednesday 13
- St Anthony of Padua, a Franciscan who died at the age of 36 in the year 1231. A native of Portugal, he preached in France and Italy.

Thursday 14
- St Davnet. She is associated with Tydavnet in Co Monaghan, and is regarded as the founder of a community there.

Friday 15
- The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Today’s feast is a solemn reminder of the immense love of God for us, revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Primary Four children who received the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time last Sunday and pray that they will continue to receive Eucharist all through their adult lives.


A purse was found in the church, If you have lost or know of someone who may have left a purse in the church at sometime during this last two weeks then contact the Parochial House or come to the Sacristy.

Part-Time Enrolments Now Open...North West Regional College, the new name for North West Institute and Limavady College, is now taking enrolments for its part-time courses which begin this September. U-10 Blitz
We are hosting an U-10 Blitz on Saturday 16th June. Teams taking part are Cloughaneely, St Michael’s, Sean MacCumhaill’s, St Eunan’s & Termon. Anyone available to help out at the blitz should be at the pitch at 10.15am.

St Davog’s celebrate a successful year.
Congratulations to St Davog’s P.S. who were awarded silver in the recent Health Promoting Schools awards. This recognises healthy living throughout all areas within the school ie mental and physical well being, nutrition, environmental health and Pastoral care.They also had a very successful inspection in January where the inspection team of ETI found that the strengths of the school include; The caring supportive ethos and the close links with the community; The very good working relationships at all levels; The excellent ¡ behaviour of the children and their positive attitude to learning; The full inspection report can be viewed on HYPERLINK "http://www.deni.gov" www.deni.gov.uk

Friends of St Caireall’s group have very successfully secured funding of £8,220-00 for the school to be spent according to the application submitted by them. Items included on their purchase list will benefit every child in the school and will provide many resources for the children of St. Caireall’s. We are most grateful to Friends of St Caireall’s for their hard work and commitment in securing this funding and for their support and cooperation in 06/07 school year.

Hospice Car Draw
The Hospice Car Draw stand will be situated at Asda from Thursday 21 June to Sunday 24 June 2007. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to staff the stand for an hour or two during this period.
